With Edwardian decor, the theatre has been described as a "little gem". It is a 99 seater auditorium, with a bar (Green Room) adjacent. Plans are currently in hand to provide disabled access and other improvements (booking office; conference facilities; separate patrons toilets etc.) are being addressed at the same time.

The theatre from the outside. The entrance is through the red door to the left of the big green doors. This leads to a steep(ish) flight of stairs to the first floor and the auditorium.
The stage from the side of the auditorium.

A view of the auditorium from the stage.
Every Friday evening, from 8 p.m. approx., is a social evening. The Green Room is a true club room, with a well-stocked bar (including draught bitter), facilities to make tea and coffee and a theatre library with about 200 titles.
