With Edwardian decor, the theatre has been described as a "little gem". It is a 99 seater auditorium, with a bar (Green Room) adjacent. A lift to the first floor was installed in October 2009, along with ground floor toilets (inc. disabled).  The next development project is provision of air conditioning in the auditorium

Access to the first floor auditorium is via stairs from the foyer, or via the 5 person (which can take one wheelchair plus two other persons) lift.

Every Friday evening, from 8 p.m. approx., is a social evening. The Green Room is a true club room, with a well-stocked bar (including draught bitter), facilities to make tea and coffee and a theatre library with about 200 titles.

Photos of past productions adorn the walls, and the diary planner and notice board are a vital source of information.

If you are interested in hiring the theatre there is more information on the Hiring the Theatre page.
