Exmouth Carnival 2011

Saturday 8th October

There was a new route this year starting in Marine Way, opposite the swimming pool. It then travelled along Marine Way turning right into Exeter Road, then along The Parade finishing opposite the Strand Pub.

There were more entries  than last year, including some from South Devon and Barnstaple and Bridport!

There was good support from the public, who dug deep in their pockets for what is effectively a free evening's entertainment. The money raised will be used to help towards the £6,000 needed to put on the Carnival next year.

The Exmouth Players, representing the Blackmore Theatre, had a number of people in costumes that will be used in the pantomime in the New Year.
